Pet Friendly Campervan Hire Glasgow

Pet Friendly Campervan Hire Glasgow

Pet Friendly Campervan is the most favourite campervan of all our customers because you are able to bring your dogs with you on your adventure journey exploring Scotland. What better way to spend your holiday than including your doggo in your plans too?! We absolutely love it! If you have a smaller dog and maybe travelling on your own or with a friend or partner then we think a mini camper will be okay for the 3 of you. But of course, our VW campervans are much bigger, which means you all would have way more space that you would in a mini camper. It’s always better to have more space than less right? Let us know if you are travelling with your dog, so we can get the Pet Friendly Campervan ready for you, there is a small extra charge. However that small extra charge means nothing, the best thing is you can enjoy your holiday with your loving furry family member. We’ll give you some ideas below where you could visit to make the best memories and they will be all pet friendly too. We definitely need more places in this world that allow pets.

Places to visit while exploring Scotland

Organisations such as Historic Scotland andNational Trust for Scotland actually allow pets to enter some of their properties. Check out where these places are located and you can take your Pet Friendly Campervan with you and camp nearby or find a beautiful little spot for wild camping somewhere. You can explore Fort George, the mightiest artillery fortification in Britain. It is based near Inverness. There are lots of dog friendly walks that you can choose from. I mean wherever is a dog friendly walk but with a touch of view these walks make it even better than any usual park. Enjoy the funny view of the  leaping salmon from the sea, while you are camping with your Pet Friendly Campervan and walking your dog at the Dunkeld past the tallest Douglas Fir.

National Park’s are definitely worth visiting, especially the Loch Lomond & The Trossach National Park - the views are stunning! We recommend not taking your dog off the lead as the paths can get quite busy. It is a very popular location for visitors to travel with the dogs too. Better to be safe than sorry aye! At the Isle of Arran you can enjoy a dog friendly adventure trip at the Brodick Castle - good news! Dogs are allowed in the gardens of the castle.

Aberdeen offers beautiful natural nature walks, with the blooming flowers and plants at both of the parks. The parks are called Victoria and Westburn in Aberdeen. Check out all the beaches available for you to travel to in your Pet Friendly Campervan! There are so many choices to choose from. Some of the options are: Balnakeil Beach in Durness, Westport Beach in Argyll, Nairn Beach, Cramond Beach near Edinburgh and Calgary Beach in Isle of Mull. If you are travelling during the summer then definitely the beaches are the go to! Your dog can swim in the sea, play in the sand and have the most fun time and as for you all, you will have all the best memories to remember.

Pet Friendly Campervan at the Beach in Scotland

Take your doggo in your Pet Friendly Campervan and explore the Isle of Skye. If you don’t fancy camping or wild camping, the Dark Skye Cottage is pet friendly. You can stay there and enjoy all the stunning views, unrivalled luxury and some superbly fun dog walks around the Isle of Skye. The Isle of Skye is absolutely beautiful. You are not going to regret travelling here. We recommend visiting the capital of Isle of Skye, which is Portree then the villages North of the Island called Dunvegan, Uig and Staffin. Talisker Distillery was built on the shores of Loch Harport in 1830 and is now the only single malt distillery on the Isle of Skye. You can treat yourself without feeling guilty too as you’ll be handed a discount voucher for a bottle of malt from the shop. Look out for seabirds and mammals at the northernmost point of the Isle of Skye. You can do some wildlife spotting in your Pet Friendly Campervan and you doggo too. To reach this beautiful place, you will have to take the 3km walk to the very tip of the island. There are a couple of challenging sections, particularly one steep section down some rocks. This is where we don't recommend taking your doggo, but it shouldn’t cause too many problems for yourselves.

We can’t recommend bringing your dog with you to travel to the Scottish Highlands with you. We think it’s the most brilliant idea ever! Don’t forget to send us photos that we can share on our social media of your adventurous Scottish holiday and include your Pet Friendly Campervan in the photos too!
